    From our founding in 1954 by John C. Williams, with a plan to build the first residential subdivision north of Crabtree Creek, through decades of growth and expansion into commercial construction, development and property management throughout the Triangle area, Williams Realty & Building Company has been guided by simple principles:

    • Do the best work possible.

     

    Today, with the groundwork of John C. being carried on by his sons Cross, Joel and Owen, the company remains true to its roots. Williams Realty & Building Company operates throughout North Carolina. Cross Williams heads up Project Development; Joel Williams, Residential Construction and Renovations; and Owen Williams, Commercial Construction. Lee Singleton is in charge of Leasing and Property Management.

    Williams Realty & Building Co., Inc. (July 1, 1980 to present): President and manager for project development. Managing member of Chaucer Investments, LLC: Responsible for overseeing the development, operations, and maintenance of commercial rental property in Wake County, North Carolina. Managing member of Glenwood Asset Management, LLC: Responsible for overseeing development, management and maintenance of over 800,000 square feet of office, retail and flex property in Wake County, North Carolina.

    Cross received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1980. Cross is the past president of the Boys’ and Girls’ Clubs of Wake County and the Friends of Habitat for Humanity. He also served as a Member and Past Chair of the Board of Trustees at Saint Mary’s School. Cross and his wife, Anne, have three daughters. He enjoys family time, golf, fishing, and spending time at the coast.

    Williams Realty & Building Co., Inc. (January 1, 1993 to present): Owner/Director of residential construction. Responsible for development and project management of residential construction. Member of Chaucer Investments, LLC and Glenwood Asset Management, LLC.

    Joel is a graduate of Virginia Episcopal School and received his Bachelor of Arts degree from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Joel serves Virginia Episcopal School as a member of the Board of Trustees. He enjoys boating, golfing and spending time with his friends and family. Joel and his wife, Liza, have a son, Joel T., and a daughter, Frances.

    Williams Realty & Building Co., Inc. (November 1, 1998 to present): Owner/Director of commercial construction. Responsible for development and project management of new commercial projects. Member of Chaucer Investments, LLC and Glenwood Asset Management, LLC.

    Owen is a graduate of Virginia Episcopal School and received his Bachelor of Arts degree from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Owen supports various charities throughout the Triangle and is a former board member of Habitat for Humanity of Wake County. He is a member of Christ Church and enjoys playing golf, spending time at the beach, and kiteboarding. Owen and his wife, Katie, have three sons.

    Glenwood Asset Management, LLC (February 1, 1996 to present): Leasing and Property Manager and member. Responsible for development, leasing, management and maintenance of over 800,000 square feet of office, retail and flex property in Wake County, North Carolina.

    Lee received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and his Master of Business Administration degree from The Fuqua School of Business at Duke University. He and his wife, Elizabeth, have one daughter and are active in Saint Michael’s Episcopal Church.

     

     

     

     

     


     

    Travis W. Edmonds

    Travis has more than 10 years of experience in commercial construction ranging from onsite supervision, to estimating and preconstruction, to project management. Travis holds both a North Carolina Real Estate License and is a qualifier for a North Carolina General Contractor’s License.

    Travis is a native of the Raleigh area and received his Bachelor of Arts degree from North Carolina State University. He is an active fund raiser for the Shepard Youth Ranch and a Board Member of the Tees to Green Memorial Golf Tournament. Travis lives in Cary with his wife Nikki. They enjoy traveling, good food and playing golf.

     

     

     


     

    Jeffrey T. Gregorio, CPA

    Williams Realty & Building (September 1, 2008 to present): Chief Financial Officer, Accounting. Manages all of the accounting policy and procedures for the company and its commercial real estate developments, as well as construction activities. Involved in the placement of financing for various projects and construction loan financing. Provides asset management and financial analysis to the clients of Glenwood Asset Management, LLC.

    Jeff received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Fredonia State University, and is a member of NCACPA and AICPA. He and his wife, Amy, have a daughter and a son. Jeff enjoys boating, golf and spending time with his family.

     

     

     

     


     

  • Exceeds the Industry Standard, Year After Year.

    Each month, our management team and superintendents gather for updates from our workplace safety consultants. We talk about the latest equipment, clothing, procedures, and processes to help make workers and the workplace as safe as possible.

    Our current safety manual contains over 200 pages, covering everything from tools and clothing to hazardous materials and operation of equipment.

    The consultants visit sites on a regular basis and report findings to the management team. With this proactive system in place, our company has experienced only one accident in the past three years.
